The 2008 Colorado Breast Cancer Resources Directory is now available in print and online at http://www.breastcancercolorado.org/. This annual directory may be obtained in both English and Spanish and contains an introduction to breast cancer screening and treatment procedures. The bulk of the information contained in this directory are related to support groups and organizations available to breast cancer survivors in Colorado. Visit the website to view the online directory, or to request a print copy of your own. Print copies in both English and Spanish are also available in the Community Breast Cancer Resource Center located in the Penrose Library downtown.
Another resource that has been recently received by the CBCRC, and extra copies are available for interested parties, is the Cure Magazine Cancer Resource Guide 2008 Edition. This special edition of Cure Magazine is produced in association with the American Cancer Society with the intent of providing up to date, accurate information about different cancers and their treatments in simple terms for patients, survivors and caregivers. Check out the table of contents online, and then come to the CBCRC to look at an issue, or get your own copy depending on availability.
