1-on-1 Computer Session

Don’t see a computer class offering what you need? SIGN UP for a 1-on-1 session! Topics can include: Mouse Basics; Computer/Windows Basics; Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher); Internet Basics and Email; Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Prezi, and Craigslist; Ereaders; and transferring digital photographs to a computer. A RESERVATION MUST BE MADE and the topic approved in advance. Sessions are 45 minutes long. Contact Cheyenne Mountain Library to set up an appointment: 633-6278.

Excel I - 2013 Edition

Prerequisite: Word I or strong familiarity with the Microsoft Word program.

In this class, you will learn how to create, manipulate, and format a basic spreadsheet in Excel 2013.

For patrons with specific trouble shooting needs or help beyond the materials covered in other library computer classes. If the user just needs beginner instruction, sign them up for computer basics, internet basics, word, etc. Remind the patron to bring their device to the appointment if possible.

Learn intermediate Word skills: changing margins, inserting, formatting and editing tables, adding bullets and numbers, and inserting footnotes, breaks, headers and footers, borders, and line spacing. Prerequisite: Intro to Microsoft Word class or equivalent experience. Registration required.

Microsoft Excel I Class

East Coding Club

Have you ever wondered what makes computer programs run? Ever wanted to make a fun program or learn how to make a game?

Learn the basics of how to code!

In this club, teens and tweens can learn to code at their own pace as we explore different programs and concepts. We'll begin with a lesson series that teaches the basics of javascript. This club is self-guided, so everyone can learn at their own pace.

Ages 9-18 only.

Space is limited to the first 12 teens/tweens to show up, but registration is not required!
