Mellow Monday--Yoga

Another manic Monday ahead? Start your day and week off right with Mellow Mondays, our weekly mind and body exercises to help you make it through the week. This week's exercise--Yoga!
Join us for an hour-long class in the Hatha Yoga style. This class is designed to give you a pretty good workout without being too difficult or demanding.
Participants should bring their own yoga mat if possible, along with a small towel, and water.
No registration is required for this free class.

Minding Your Business

Learn how to research starting or growing a business or how to find a job in Minding Your Business. This class covers print sources, electronic databases and websites to help find information on industry, competition, vendors, financials, and more.

GED / HiSET / TASC classes

When: Tuesday, July 26, 2016 - 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Where: Penrose Library - 20 North Cascade at Pine Room

This class will help adults without a high school diploma prepare to take the GED, HiSET, or TASC high school equivalency exams. Registration is required. Drop by and check out tech and gadget kits not limited to Robots, circuitry, lego robots, Cubelets, and other tech related items. Stay the full time, or just spend a few minutes.

For patrons with specific trouble shooting needs or help beyond the materials covered in other library computer classes. If the user just needs beginner instruction, sign them up for computer basics, internet basics, word, etc. Remind the patron to bring their device to the appointment if possible.

Word I Class

In this class you will become familiar with basic word processing skills necessary to create and save word documents by learning to read the Microsoft Word screen and entering and manipulating basic text.
Prerequisites: Completion of (55+) Computer Basics and experience using a mouse and keyboard
