Art afternoons

Every other week we will be exploring a different aspect of the art journaling experience. We will look at simple drawing techniques, pen and ink, water color and more. We may even throw in some simple sculpture!

Make Garden Stepping Stones!

When: Friday, August 05, 2016 - 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Where: Ute Pass Library - 8010 Severy at Ute Pass Community Events

Make your own garden stepping stone! This is a 2 part class. On Fri., Aug. 12 we will finish our stepping stones. Supplies will be provided by the library, but bring any special items you'd like in your stone such as beads, shells, colored rocks, charms and broken pottery. We will be working with cement, so dress appropriately. Registration is required at ppld.org. You only need to register for the first class. Class size is limited to 9.

Make Your Own Garden Stepping Stone!

This is the second part of Make Your Own Garden Stepping Stone! We will finish the stepping stones that we started last week. You do not need to register for this class since you registered for the first part.

Self Defense for Seniors (and Adults)

When: Saturday, September 10, 2016 - 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Where: Ute Pass Library - 8010 Severy

A self-defense class for adults and seniors. You will learn some simple moves to help you get away from an attacker. Self-defense instructors will teach the 2 hour class which will be at the Cascade Fire Station, directly across from the library. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and soft-soled shoes.
