East Library Meeting/Study Room Policy

East Community Meeting Room

Meeting room reservations can be made for once per week, up to six months in advance, and 48 hours before the meeting date.

Room Capacity: 100

Hours: Same as library hours. Closes 30 minutes prior to library closing.

Setup:
Library staff will assist in the setup of the room Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. according to set up specified on the meeting room reservation form. For the rest of the reservations, each group is responsible for setting up the room. Security guards can provide additional tables and chairs. Provided at no charge if available

  • Podium/Microphone
  • Whiteboard (Markers and erasers not provided)
  • LCD Projector
  • Laptop
  • Screen
  • DVD(Regular/Blue Ray) player

Food:
Food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed in this room.

  • A non-refundable $50 fee must be paid for having food other than covered non-alcoholic beverages and dry snacks in the room.
  • The group is responsible for tidying up the room after the meeting. If cleaning is required after the meeting, an additional $50 charge will be assessed.
  • Cooking, warming or heating food in the room is prohibited.
  • The Library does not provide supplies and equipment for serving beverages and snacks.

Groups that fail to cancel a reservation three business days in advance or groups that do not show up on the reserved date can be denied future access to Library meeting rooms, and the groups that paid for the outside of the normal meeting room hours will not receive a refund.

Reserve the East Library Community Meeting Room

Annex

Meeting room reservations can be made for once per week, up to six months in advance, and 48 hours before the meeting date. You will need a valid library card and a PIN to reserve this room.

Room Capacity: 28

Hours: Same as library hours. Closes 30 minutes prior to library closing.

Setup:
This room will be set for boardroom seating as a default. The group can rearrange the chairs and tables, but when the meeting is over, the group must return the setup to boardroom style.

Equipment:

  • Whiteboard (Markers and erasers not provided)
  • LCD Projector
  • Laptop
  • DVD/TV/VHS

Food:

  • Dry snack foods and covered non-alcoholic beverages are permitted as long as the room is left clean after the meeting.
  • The group is responsible for tidying up the room after the meeting. If cleaning is required after the meeting, a $50 charge will be assessed.

    • Conferencing and PowerPoint presentation capabilities
    • A touch screen computer

Food: Only covered non-alcoholic beverages are allowed.

Study room reservations can be made for once per day, up to 24 hours in advance. A two hour maximum per group is allowed. You will need a valid library card and a PIN to reserve these rooms.

Hours: Same as library hours. Closes 30 minutes prior to library closing.

Food: Only covered non-alcoholic beverages are allowed.
