Nonprofit Workshop - Nonprofits and Public Policy Advocacy

This workshop will discuss how 501(c)(3)s can and should advocate for their missions. Learn how IRS rules allow nonprofits to engage in policy advocacy and lobbying. Learn how to identify foundation and corporate giving programs using free online databases accessible through the Pikes Peak Library District. Nonprofit Workshop - Advance Foundation Directory

The Foundation Directory Online has made several upgrades to their system. Now you can search past grantees, view maps of giving areas, and determine the average grant award. This workshop is for those who have already taken the Grantseeking workshop and are familiar with the standard Foundation Directory Online search techniques.
