Library Partners with Hoopla Digital to Give Patrons Online and Mobile Access to Free Movies, TV Shows and Music

Pikes Peak Library District now has thousands of movies, television shows, and music albums, all available for mobile and online access through a new partnership with hoopla digital (

Colorado Springs library cardholders can now download the free hoopla digital mobile app on their Android or IOS device from the CyberShelf link on to begin enjoying thousands of titles – from major Hollywood studios and record companies – available to borrow for instant streaming or temporary downloading to their smartphones, tablets, computers and Apple TV.

“We’re always adopting new services and programs that fuel our connection with the Colorado Springs community, while positioning us as a great resource for mobile content” said Tammy Ross, Selections Librarian for Pikes Peak Library District. “With hoopla digital, our patrons only need a library card to stay connected and they can access our content on the hoopla app or web site – free of charge. The service is also digital, so there is no waiting period for popular titles and hoopla’s automatic return means no late fees.”
