Free Drawing Class by Young Rembrandts
When: Thursday, May 31, 2012 - 4:00 PM
Where: Monument Branch - 1706 Lake Woodmoor Drive at Monument Meeting Room
We will learn about the stages of a butterfly and draw the cycle from beginning to end. Students will learn about proportion, symmetry and shading as they create their work of art. Young Rembrandts classes are normally fee-based, but for this month only, two one-hour classes are being offered for free on May 12 at 10:30 a.m. and (this class) May 31st at 4:00. Class size is limited to 15. Sign up early.
Summer Reading Kick Off Program - Live Bunnies!

Come see and pet the bunnies and register for the Summer Reading Program. Do you dream of having a rabbit as a pet? Join Laura Foye and her bunnies for this fun program. You will learn some facts about rabbits, pet a sweet, soft (real!) bunny and visit the craft table to make your own rabbit creations. Bunny fun for everyone!
Summer Reading Program - Jim Jackson: Busker and Me, a circus dogs tale

Welcome world class clown Jim Jackson from The MAT as he brings to life the adventures of Busker the circus dog using puppetry, juggling, magic and many hilarious stunts. Dont be surprised by the flying dog bone, the roaring lion in the trash can and the pesky, plotting chimpanzee throwing banana peels on the floor: they are all part of the show!
