Teen Staff Office Hours

Have a question? Or maybe an idea?

Come to the Penrose Teen Space every Monday and Thursday from 3:30-4:30 to meet the awesome Teen staff. We will be available to be give book recommendations, answers, or just to listen.

If you ask a question, you may even get a snack for your troubles!

Paws to Read

Manitou Teen Creative Writer's Group

Where: Manitou Springs Library at Lower Level

Looking for support and feedback from other writer's? Do you want to explore new structures and techniques in your writing? Would you like to try writing some poetry or give memoir writing a shot? Drop in and play with a fun writing prompt, or bring something you are already working on! This group offers 12-18 year old writers a chance to grow as writers and help others do the same.

Knitting Kninjas

Come join other teens and learn different stitches, patterns, and techniques! Feel free to bring your own supplies and knitting projects, but we will also have yarn and needles to use. For beginners to experts, ages 12-18 only.

Career Conversations: Legal & Criminal Justice

Professionals from different career fields break it down for teens in a panel discussion that explores the ups and downs of occupations. Each month will feature a different career path group. Professionals from the legal and criminal justice system will discuss their careers.
