Maker Monday - Paint Scrape Notecards!

This fun DIY project is messy, so please wear something you don't mind getting paint on! These scrape notecards are great for greeting cards or even to hang on the wall!

Acrylic Painting for Beginners with Robert Schmitz

Learn how to paint with acrylics to create your own artwork with artist Robert Schmitz. This five class series is free and is intended for older adults who have not yet taken an acrylic painting class with Robert Schmitz at PPLD. This series runs from 2/28 through 4/4 with no class held on 3/14. Participants should be prepared to attend all five classes. All supplies will be furnished. Registration is required. In collaboration with Who Gives a SCRAP, we are holding a Scrap Exchange from noon until 4pm! It is free to attend. Bring your unused and unwanted scrap craft material and exchange them for "tickets" to "purchase" new-to-you craft supplies!

We will also have a fun craft going on, so you can take your time and check for new inventory! No registration required.

Yoga at the Library!

Join us for a lighthearted, mindful yoga class. We will link our breath with our movement and cultivate present moment awareness as we practice yoga. All levels are welcome. Repair Café

Toss it? No Way? Fix it at Repair Café!
Together with our Repair Café volunteers, you will disassemble, troubleshoot, and possibly repair your broken items. Save money, help the environment, and learn repair skills with your local community!

Acceptable Items to Bring: Bikes, Clothing, Small Appliances, Small Electronics, Jewelry

Our Guidelines:
• Please bring one broken or non-working item per person.*
• Carry-in items only (No stoves, refrigerators, or other large items) • Volunteers offer no guarantee of items being repaired made by them or with their assistance, and are not liable if objects repaired do not work properly at home.
• Volunteers are not obliged to reassemble disassembled appliances that cannot be repaired.
