You will learn from a Master Gardener how to plant seeds, how to determine if you have good soil for planting vegetables, what to do about pests, and how often to water in this dry, Colorado weather. This will be a hands-on demonstration, so get ready to play in the dirt! Please know this is geared toward beginners. If you already have a garden bed, feel free to just drop by to learn more about gardening.

We will meet at the Green Team Urban Garden at the Penrose Library, located near the lower parking lot on West Pikes Peak Avenue. However, if the weather is bad, we will meet inside in the Pine Room.

If you have access to any land, even a small patch in the grassy strip by the street - you can become an urban farmer!
