Is math homework getting you down? Are finals freaking you out? Do you need to brush up before the ACT, SAT, GRE, or GED?

Our in-person math tutoring service is suspended at this time. Until we are back, please use our resource guide for Homework Help. There you will find, BrainFuse HelpNow. This is free, live, online math tutoring by experts. They are available from 2-11 p.m. everyday.

Hi there,
My kido is not receiving any additional help with math during class time, he is continuously struggling, I feel really bad because I am not much help here at home.... I do not understand the common core style myself. So I was wondering if someone can reach out and help get his confidence up and guide him.

Hi there. Please call the library at which you are interested for AfterMath and they'll be happy to point you in the right direction.

Hi my name is Kalie and I am in online college going for my teaching degree. I am currently enrolled in pre calculus and will have to take all the way up to advanced calculus. Do you have someone one that can help me threw these classes. If you can help I’d really appreciate it

Hi there. Please call the library at which you are interested for AfterMath and they'll be happy to point you in the right direction.

Hi there. Please call the library at which you are interested for AfterMath and they'll be happy to point you in the right direction.

This is Alison Reed from Ute Pass Library speaking on behalf of this patron. She is interested in an Adult After Math program (elementary level) starting in June. She is wondering if this service will be available. She is flexible on locations and scheduling. Please contact Makawa with the phone number above.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for your interest in AfterMath!
We have AfterMath at the Sand Creek Library over the summer. It is scheduled on Saturdays from 10-noon. It starts June 10 and runs through the end of July.
Please contact staff at Sand Creek if you have more questions! The number there is 719-597-7070.

My daughter is struggling in math. She gets real frustrated when I try and help her. So I think it would be best if she gets help from someone else. She is in second grade. Is this something we came get help with here?

Sure. Just contact the libraries listed above to make sure they have a tutor that fits that level.

Hello! Do you have any plans to include Rockrimmon as one of your Math Tutoring locations in the near future?

We don't have any plans right now, but keep looking at our calendar. Now that we know there is some interest we can certainly look at doing it in the future!

Is Aftermath directed towards children? I am an adult, returning to college and could use some assistance in passing the algebra course that is required. Most math tutoring (free) is directed toward kids, which I technically have no problem with , per say. But I just wanted to know if adults are welcome.

Thank you for answering his reply about adults because my son, 27, needs help brushing up on his math skills in order to pass the GED. So you're stating no matter what night an adult attends someone of competent skills will be there to assist? Thank you.

Thank you for your questions about our Aftermath program! The program is run entirely by volunteers. Each one of our volunteers has specific strengths, and we try to cover as wide a range as possible. We do have people comfortable with College Algebra and all levels of math, but it is not a guarantee that one will be available when you arrive. I would suggest you visit our Aftermath programs and speak with the volunteers.

I would also recommend a few other options PPLD offers. First is our Brainfuse partnership. They offer online tutoring daily from 2-11pm, via the internet. Everyone has a degree in their field, and you can specify exactly what kind of tutoring you need. It is free for PPLD card holders. They specifically have a program for adult learners, including the GED. You can follow the link here:

Second is the GED class offered by our Adult Education Department. Classes are held at Penrose Library downtown. You can get more information and a class list here:

Best of luck!

Hi there. We are indeed looking into providing AfterMath at Rockrimmon. We will update this page if it happens.

Hi I really need help in math but I'm in calculus 3 and was wondering if I would be able to get help here.

Yes, you can get help at AfterMath! We have a variety of tutors who can help with all ages and all levels.

Hello, my son is in desperate need of math help. There is also a group of kids on our same block that are having a great deal of trouble with math as well. I wish that I could help, but I do not comprehend algebra very well at all. Wondering if there are any days that The Fountain library can offer some math help soon? Thanks

Right now we don't have in person math help at Fountain. But, we do have a free, live online tutoring service called Brainfuse. You can find it here: You will need your library card and PIN to access it.

I'm in college and heard about tutors @ the 21c library. Do you also offer online or do I have to go to the library?

Unfortunately, AfterMath is not a program we offer while school is on break. We do have a great online service, called HelpNow, that offers year-round free tutoring on all levels of math for library patrons. You'll just need your library card and PIN information. You can find the link here: for more information, or send me an email at if you have more questions!
