I was interested in the MakerBot 3D Printer Badging Class on March 3 From 10:30AM- 12:30AM but it says it is currently full. Is there a waiting list, or can I register for the next class?
Thank you,
Joshua Hardman (13 years old)

Hello, a Makerspace staff member would be happy to help register you for a different Makerbot 3D Printer Badging Class, or schedule an appointment for you to come in and work with a staff member one-on-one. Please call the Makerspace at Library 21c (719) 884-9800 x6364. Thanks!

Hello, unfortunately, the Laser Badging Classes for March are currently full. However, we do have two classes in April. Tuesday 4/11 at 3:00 p.m. and Sunday 4/23 at 1:00 p.m. Please register for these classes at http://ppld.org/classes#all, or call the Make Desk 719-884-9800 x6364. Thanks!

Hello. I signed up for Home Selling Basics offered 26 April. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the class tonight. I hope it's offered again in the future because it sounds great and I really need to attend such a class.

Will there be a class on Adobe Audition in the future
Thank you so much

Hi Laura,

We don't have any classes planned on Audition, but if you send an email to studio@ppld.org someone may be able to help you one-on-one with your audio editing needs. We look forward to hearing from you.

Hi, I'm wondering if the voice over class will be happening soon.
It was mentioned in my orientation class that I had back in May.
Thanks,
Vicky Core

Hi Vicky,

The voiceover class is scheduled for July 19, 2017. Unfortunately, the class is already full. If you'd like to be notified if more spots open up, or join our mailing list to hear about other similar courses, email us at studio@ppld.org

Wondering if there is a charge for the Tai Chi classes, and if so how much?

We hope to have more calligraphy classes at Library 21c, but at this time none are planned. You can check back on the website for future classes or call (719) 884-9800 x6364.

I would like to get badged on all of the Make II equipment but I work and cannot get into the library during the day. When are the next classes available for badging?
Thanks,
Don Dougherty

Hello,

For getting badged on the 3D printers, you can do that yourself by going to http://research.ppld.org/3dprinting. You'll watch a video and take a short quiz, and once you get a perfect score on the quiz you are badged. You can do this at anytime from at home or in the library.

The next evening class for the laser cutter is on Tuesday, December 12th from 6:30-8:30pm. If that time works for you, you can sign up at PPLD.org or by calling us at 719-884-9800.

To get badged on the CNC, you will have to set up an appointment with us, as the badging is done one-on-one. You can call us or stop by anytime when the library is open to get in line for an appointment. Because it is done through an appointment instead of a class, we can set up a time that works with your schedule.

Please give us a call if you have any further questions.

I would be so grateful if there were meditation classes. I really would like to learn how to do this and it would be so beneficial for my health and I would assume for many others.

It says this class is full but is there anyway I could at least drop by and audit the class? This class would be incredibly beneficial to my education and future career.

While you can audit the class, it's primarily designed as a hands-on course where you can practice the techniques as we go through them. Unfortunately we only have five computers available with Premiere so the class size is rather small.

I'm not sure I can come to the class tomorrow (14th). Will you have this class again in the near future?
Thanks, Barb

This presenter rotates his classes and presents monthly so it will be offered again. As of now we do not have a date scheduled but you can always sign up for our business newsletter to stay informed of upcoming events. Thank you.
