We apologize. This part of the website missed being updated with the new hours for the Sand Creek Makerspace. We will have that done. Until then, the current hours are as follows:
Monday: 1-5 p.m.
Wednesday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Is the Laser Cutter a Epilog 24?
Also, do you have the rotary attachment?

Thanks for interest in our laser cutter. It's an Epilog Zing laser. 24in x 12x cutting area with a 60 watt laser tube. We do have a rotary attachment.

If 3-D scanner is not available at 21C I may need access to Solid Works software to create 3-D printer file.
As Sand Creek is much closer is Solid Works or similar software available there?

Hi George,
Sand Creek currently doesn't have any 3-D modeling software on our Makerspace computers. We generally guide folks to Tinkercad, but I can work on getting that loaded onto our machines ASAP.
Thanks for your question,
Sand Creek Library Manager

Hi, I am working on a startup and was going to have an Iron Party - Iron graphics on to tees- and I wanted to know if it was possible to use the space beside the open hours given so we would not be in the way of other patrons (estimated 5-7 total people in attendance)? If we do decide on coming in does the makerspace provide irons or will we have to supply our own?

Hi there! The Makerspace itself isn't available during off hours, but you are welcome to book one of our meeting rooms or our conference room to have your iron party. We do have one iron that you could borrow from the Makerspace. If you need it, please put that on the comments section of your room reservation.
