Makerspace & Studio Resource Guides
PPLD’s makerspaces offer access to tools, materials, and machines to help bring your creative vision to life. Before you visit our spaces, make sure to familiarize yourself with our Makerspace Policy.

Food Industry Training
Are you looking for a career in the culinary industry? PPLD is pleased to offer Food Industry Training, a four-week training program that gives you the skills you need to enter or advance in employment as a qualified prep cook or line cook. No previous experience is required, and there is no cost to participants.


Mountain of Authors
This an annual community program provides an opportunity for the public and local authors to network, listen to notable
authors, as well as learn more about the craft of writing and trends in publishing.

Workforce Readiness Training
This is an online learning experience to prepare you to enter the workforce or to help you brush up on your career skills. When you complete the training, you will earn a certificate.

Regional History Symposium
Scheduled throughout the Summer of 2021 in commemoration of the Colorado Springs Sesquicentennial (1871 - 2021), the annual Pikes Peak Regional History Symposium will explore the people, places, and events that have animated the story of Colorado Springs from its post-Civil War founding to the present.
