"Hope" by William Bowman

Hope can be like many things,

All happy like a sunny spring.

Other times when hope has gone away,

It can be like winter, all cloudy, cold, and grey.

When you are happy hope rises like the shining sun,

But when you are sad and blue it falls like when the day is done.

When you have faith hope like an arrow flies,

But the moment you lose faith it crashes down from the sky.

And when the night wind howls, and the moon shines as the only light,

Hope will always be there to guide you through the dead of night.

And when you have hope in your eyes,

You will always see sunny, bright skies.
