Baby Time

ImportantAll programs are temporarily cancelled until further notice due to COVID-19. Here’s what you can expect and how you can use the Library remotely.

Babies from birth to 12 months, with a favorite adult, enjoy music, rhymes, and a book together. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If your child might benefit from sensory accommodations such as fidgets or noise-reducing headphones, please request a Sensory Accommodations kit from the desk.

Interested in reserving a spot for Baby Time program. My daughter is 10 months old.

Are older siblings welcome at Baby Time as well? I also have a 2.5 year old, so while I would like to bring my baby, I don’t know what to do with my toddler during that time.

Yes, you can bring siblings. Thanks for your interest.

My baby consistently naps between 10 and 11:30, are there ever afternoon times offered?

We have considered it, but the morning is the overwhelming choice of most parents for the baby programs. They have also let us know that the nap times do not stay consistent over the first year of life.
Thank you for letting us know, and we will take that into consideration in planning future programs.

I really wish there was a weekend babytime for working moms. This is the only Ppld for infants and I can never make it. Please consider more opportunities for babies and toddlers on the weekends. I really want to get her loving the library and doing activities there but I work m-f.

Will Baby Time ever be cancelled because of weather? And how will I know if it has been cancelled?

Baby Time will not be cancelled because of weather unless the library is closed. You can go to the website at for closure information, or call 531-6333.

My husband and I both work full time M-F, please consider weekend events in the future.

All in-person Library programs and events held inside of Pikes Peak Library District facilities, along with public meeting and study room reservations, have been cancelled through Thu., Dec. 31, unless it is deemed safe to resume sooner. Do note that this could be shortened or extended depending upon the state orders and local public health guidelines as we approach the end of 2020.
