Holds Processors/Shelvers

Serve behind the scenes a few hours a week to assist staff with processing and transferring books patrons have requested. Vounteers will (tasks vary from branch to branch) locate, and retrieve books on the shelves, or empty bins, discharge items with a computer device, shelve materials on the HOLDS shelves or book truck, and/or place materials in bins to go to other libraries. Volunteers at Penrose Library and Mobile Library Services will have free parking!

East Volunteers are needed Monday and Tuesday afternoons (2-5) and Wednesday and Friday mornings 8:30 - 11:30.

Shelvers

Adults and teens are needed to assist staff with shelving materials including books, CDs, DVDs, audio books etc. Volunteers should have strong attention to detail, ability to place materials in alphabetical and numeric order, ability to bend, reach and push a book cart, and work as a team.

Multiple shifts and days are open, 1 day per week for 1-2 hours. Please apply at High Prairie Library or Ruth Holley Library.
