Knit One & Crochet Too
Wed., Feb. 7 and 21 from 1:30 - 3 p.m.
Bring a project to work on, and socialize with fellow knitters and crocheters! No registration is required.

Drop-in Painting
Wed., Feb. 7 and 21 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Amateur artists are invited to MAKE @ East to experiment with watercolors (watercolor paints, watercolor crayons, and watercolor pencils!) at this fun and informal drop-in program. We’ll supply the brushes, paint, and paper; just bring yourself! Ages 9 and up. Ages 9 - 11 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration is required.

Maker in Residence: Digital Photography as Art & Play
Sun., Feb. 11 from 1:30 - 4 p.m.
Do you love photography? Join Maker in Residence Charlie Mussi for a fun, free class perfect for anyone seeking to find or share tips and techniques, and engage in digital photography discussions. We’ll also learn more about the photography resources at PPLD. All adults welcome, including beginners. Bring any camera or phone camera that you choose. We will take time after the formal class to talk about your photography hurdles. Ages 18 and up. Registration is required.

Kids Create: Valentine Edition
Tue., Feb. 13 at from 10 - 10:30 a.m., 10:45 - 11:15 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. - noon
Join us in MAKE @ East for a Valentine activity sampler! Attendees will create special Valentine’s and see the laser cutter in action. Also be sure to visit the Educational Resource Center (ERC) any time between 10 a.m. and noon for additional Valentine activities! Ages 5+. Registration required. Please register EACH child attending by clicking on preferred time above.

  • Wednesday: 5 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Thursday: closed
  • Friday: 1 - 5 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
  • Sunday: closed
  • During Open Hours, MAKE @ East is available to work on your own projects while a trained PPLD staff member is present. Equipment and supplies are available on a first come basis. Ages 9 and up. Ages 9 - 11 must be accompanied by an adult. No registration is required.
