Star Wars Movie Marathon: The Clone Wars

When: Saturday, December 10, 2016 - 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
Where: East Library - 5550 N. Union Blvd. at East Teen Center (ETC) A & B

Get ready for Rogue One with a Star Wars movie marathon! We'll be watching the animated film The Clone Wars at 1:00pm. Tasty drinks and snacks will be served. 100 min, PG, ages 12-18 only.

Manitou Anime Club

When: Saturday, December 10, 2016 - 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM
Where: Manitou Springs Library at Lower Level

Ohayo gozaimasu, Otaku! The Manitou Springs Anime & Manga Club is your source for all things Anime!Each month is centered around a theme, and our crafts, activities, and snacks will be connected to that theme.

TEEN BOOK CLUB at Cheyenne Mountain High School

When: Monday, December 12, 2016 - 3:20 PM - 4:20 PM
Where: Cheyenne Mountain Library - 1785 S. 8th Street Suite 100

All D-12 high school students are invited to attend this off-site book club! Read a variety of genres chosen by the group and take turns leading discussion. Meets the 2nd Monday of every month at the CMHS Library after school (3:20-4:20 pm).

Marvelous Monday: MAKE Papercrafting

When: Monday, December 12, 2016 - 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Where: Penrose Library - 20 North Cascade at Penrose Teen Space

Stop by the teen area every Monday to see what movie/activity/craft we're doing. Snacks provided! Ages 12 to 18 only.

Free!!! Experienced math tutors assist students of all ages and grade levels. Drop in for help with your math questions. Program runs from September 12th through May 15th.

Sand Creek Chess Club

Join us for an hour (or more?!) of fun and games playing chess! Enjoy a game of strategy and cunning with this chess club for players of all experience levels. Compete again friends (new or old) or come beat the pants off the Sand Creek Staff. Refreshments provided!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book Club: The Long Haul

Join us for a book club dedicated to the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid book series. We will have a book discussion, crafts, and fun! Open for all children ages 7-11. Registration is required.

Snow Day

Come to the Teen Zone! Learn how to create snowflakes, play in fake snow, and have an afternoon of board games and sugar painting!

Teen Gaming

Where: Fountain Library - 230 S. Main Street at Fountain Meeting Room

Gaming day.....Teens come and hang out, play a few games. Use the laptops. The Xbox 360 and Wii will be available.

Rockrimmon Anime Club

When: Tuesday, December 13, 2016 - 4:00 PM - 5:15 PM
Where: Rockrimmon Library - 832 Village Center Drive at Rockrimmon Meeting Room

Do you have a passion for Anime and Manga? Are you between the ages of 13 and 18? If so, join Rockrimmon’s Anime Club! Come and enjoy fun, prizes, food, manga, and much more with fellow Anime lovers. We meet every second and fourth Tuesday of the month. No registration required, just bring yourself, and your passions. Some Anime’s are rated PG-13 and have mature content.

Anime Club

For teens ages 12-18 who are interested in Anime! Meet others who share your interest and watch a different title each meeting. Prizes, food, and more! No registration required.
Some animes are rated PG-13, anyone 12 years old should be accompanied by a teen 13-18.

Join teens who are passionate about Dungeons and Dragons!

Program is for ages 12-18. Space is limited to 20 participants. Registration is required.

Pikes Peak Workforce Center Outreach Drop in lab

When: Wednesday, December 14, 2016 - 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Where: Penrose Library - 20 North Cascade at Penrose Computer Lab

Representatives will be available to answer questions and help with job search and resumes.

AfterMath--Free Math Tutoring!

LEGO Build

Show off your creativity with this family event.Please do not bring your own LEGOs and all masterpieces remain at the library. (However, donations are gladly accepted!)

Teens on Laptops

When: Wednesday, December 14, 2016 - 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Where: Old Colorado City Library - 2418 West Pikes Peak at Old Colorado City Meeting Room

Laptops are set aside for teen use only in the Community Room. Come on down and do homework, play games and music, or just surf! Occasionally we will have the Wii, crafts, or other special activities. Brought to you by OC3, our teen advisory council.

Lego Build at Ruth Holley

Tweens and children (ages 12 and under) come to the library to build and create with Legos! Parents are welcome to join in the fun.

Wired Wednesdays: North Pole Village/Little Bits

When: Wednesday, December 14, 2016 - 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Where: East Library - 5550 N. Union Blvd. at EA Makerspace

Every second Wednesday of the month, we will host a circuitry or robotics workshop. This Wednesday, we'll use Little Bits to build our own North Pole Village! Participants should be ages 9-18 to attend. Participants 9-11 must be accompanied by a parent; both parties must register.

Teen Dungeons and Dragons Club

When: Wednesday, December 14, 2016 - 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Where: Library21c Study Rooms -1175 Chapel Hills Drive at A1

Join other teens who are passionate about Dungeons and Dragons!!

Program is for ages 12-18. Space is limited to 8, so registration is required!! Check at the Teen desk for Location!!

Teen/Tween Maker Wednesday: Laser Cut Tree Ornaments

When: Wednesday, December 14, 2016 - 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Where: East Library - 5550 N. Union Blvd. at EA Makerspace

Stop by Make @ East on the second Wednesday of the month for an adventure in the makerspace! This month, we will be using the laser cutter to make tree ornaments.

For ages 9-18. Makers 9-11 must have a parent/guardian with them.
Registration required.

Paws to Read

Let your child practice reading and build fluency by reading to a Paws to Read dog.
