Help Support Early Literacy!

The PPLD Foundation needs your help to purchase seven Early Literacy Stations. These computers offer child-centered education software and deliver age-appropriate educational content for our youngest patrons. Not everyone in our community can afford a PC or laptop or the Internet subscription. By making these computers available across the District, PPLD community libraries help all of our families bridge the technology gap that could put their children at an educational disadvantage.

Early Literacy Stations immerse children in an extremely rich environment where the content is always engaging and challenging and the technology is appropriate and reliable.

PPLD has purchased seven such computers so far. We need to raise $6,300 to double that number across the District and meet the needs of all of our children at each of our Community Libraries. Each Station costs $3,500. We have raised $18,200 of the $24,500. Please help us raise the remaining $6,300 before the end of the year and fuel our youngest patrons’ power to learn with Early Literacy Stations.
