I am very interested in creating a video containing memories ( pictures and videos) as well as music playing in the background of the first half of year 2017 ( January- June). I was wondering if I can get some assistance with doing this in the month of June.

Thank you- Lisa Erewa.

Hi Lisa,

We'd be happy to help you get started with your editing project. Please email studio@ppld.org, and someone will arrange for an editing lesson either through a class or one-on-one.

Thanks!

I am making a Celebration of Life video for my father and need to check out a video projector that could be connected to a laptop. Thank you for any assistance.

Are there any classes in audio mixing and engineering? Or is there an audio engineer available for reservation as well?

Good day and thank you for the question. My name is Roland and I am one of the staff members for studio 21c.
To answer your question we normally have 1 to 2 various audio courses offered in the studio each month. However, unfortunately, the instructor that normally teaches the audio engineering courses will be unavailable for the next couple of months due to him touring with the Air Force Academy jazz band.
We do not offer an audio engineer to help mix music but instead offer the training courses so that you are comfortable in doing so or if you have someone will to engineer for you and has a good understanding of our PreSonus board .
If you have further questions please feel free to contact me at Rclements@ppld.org
Sorry we could not be of more assistance right now but I do look forward to hearing from you in the near future, Roland

Hello,
Can you use the recording studio to record instruments as well as vocals?
Thank you

Hello,

We have the equipment at Library 21c and East, and the machines are generally available whenever the library is open. In order to use it, you will need to supply your own blank DVDs. Also, please be aware that the converter works in real time, so a 2 hour tape will take 2 hours to convert, plus time for setup. Please call us at 719-884-9800 if you have any other questions.
