I am wondering if there is anyplace at the library where I could use or rent a micro cassette recorder or player. I have two old micro cassettes that I would like to play and record so that it will be digitized. It's my father telling his life story a few months before he died.

Thank you,
Linda Oppelt

Thank you for your interest in our conversion software. Unfortunately, we do not have a machine that will convert micro-cassettes, only standard cassette tapes.

I am looking for a device that will play my (deceased) Dad's voice on reel-to-reel tape recorder.

(Even better, I'd like to convert them to digital.)

Can you assist?

Hi Karen, thanks for reaching out to us! Unfortunately, PPLD does not offer any devices which can play or convert reel-to-reel tapes. However, AudioFile Solutions is a local company which offers conversion services: https://www.audiofilesolutions.com/convert-cassette-record-vhs-to-cd-dvd/ Hopefully they will be able to help! Please let us know if you need any additional assistance or resources, and thanks again for contacting us.

Yes you need to bring your own media. Any class 10 (10MB/s) or faster SD card should work. As for size, 32GB or 64GB should be plenty for a session.
