Penrose Library will undergo the next stages of its improvement project starting on Mon., Jan. 6. The Library will remain open, but the Computer Lab, Children's area, and 24-hour book drop will be closed during construction. The indoor book drop will be open during regular operating hours.

Manitou Springs Library is temporarily closed and will reopen at 701 Manitou Ave. on Fri., Feb. 7 at 4:30 p.m. following a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Isabel M. Peña was born and raised in Washington Heights, NYC to Dominican parents. She is currently a single mother of two wonderful boys and is residing in the majestic state of Colorado.
