Yoga Foundations

Holley Lunch and A Movie: Dunkirk

Tai Chi 24 Form (Advanced)

When: Wednesday, February 21, 2018 - 12:15 PM - 1:00 PM
Where: Library21c at Western Window Bay

45 minute class with Philip Selva, Certified Tai Chi Instructor. For first-timers: You must take the Tai Chi Basics course. If you feel that you belong in a higher-level class, please arrange for a time to meet with the instructor to evaluate your Tai Chi form. Please consult your physician prior to participation in this class.

Device and Computer Help Drop-in Lab

When: Wednesday, February 21, 2018 - 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Where: Penrose Library at Penrose Bay Area

For patrons with specific trouble shooting needs or help beyond the materials covered in other library computer classes. If the user just needs beginner instruction, sign them up for computer basics, internet basics, word, etc. Remind the patron to bring their device to the appointment if possible.

Knit One & Crochet Too

Line Dancing

Knitting

An intergenerational knitting group that meets the first, second and third Wednesday of each month. Practice materials are provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own materials! Some instruction provided for those new to the world of knitting.

World Traveler Book Club

During Open Hours MAKE @ East is available for patrons to work on their own projects while a trained PPLD staff member is present. Equipment and supplies are available on a first come basis.

All patrons in the space must be at least 9 years old. Ages 9-11 must be accompanied by a guardian at all times. Parent/guardian supervision is welcome for all minors over age 12.

Exploring Mindfulness, Discovering Delight Meditation Series

Drop-in Watercolor Painting

Amateur artists are invited to MAKE @ East to experiment with watercolors (watercolor paints, watercolor crayons, and watercolor pencils!) at this fun and informal drop-in program. We’ll supply the brushes, paint, and paper; just bring yourself and a friend!

Ages 9 and up. Ages 9-11 must be accompanied by an adult.

Yoga for Stress Management

Learn to manage or relieve your stress through yoga. Join Lynn for an hour long yoga class. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat or towel. All experience levels welcome. Please consult your physician prior to participating in this class.
