Biography

Stacy Adams is a children’s author, educator, and longtime resident of the Pikes Peak region. With more than 30 years of experience working with children—including 12 years with a local homeschool program—she believes that teaching children to love learning gives them the confidence to explore, question, and discover. Her debut book, Cam, Horse of Kings, was inspired by her real Andalusian stallion, Cam, and the beauty and spirit of Colorado’s Black Forest. Stacy is also creating a companion curriculum that extends the story through literature, history, geography, character development, art, and hands-on learning.
