Come to Library 21c for Denny Dressman’s talk about his book, Black Baseball's Heyday: Capturing an Era in Art and Words on Sat., July 11 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The Denver-based author will talk about the lengthy period of segregated baseball from 1880 to Jackie Robinson’s debut, as well as cultural developments and pivotal figures in American history.
Books will not be sold during the event. You can purchase a copy directly from the publisher through their website and bring it on July 11 to have it signed by the author.
This program is being offered to commemorate the Colorado 150 and US 250 anniversaries.
