Biography

At an early age, I was exposed to the rejuvenation and peace that mountains provide during my long hikes on the Appalachian Trail with my father. This developed sense of awe continued to grow throughout my childhood and youth. During summer break while attending Auburn University, I fell in love with the West while living and working Yellowstone National Park. Ever since, it was my dream to raise a family in Colorado and give them the gift of never-ending adventures in nature. Having a creative outlet outside of my full time DoD job allows the growth for self-discovery and involving my family makes it even more special. Meet Pikes Peak is my debut children's picture book.
