GED Resources

Pikes Peak Library District (PPLD) offers free resources to support adults working toward their General Education Diploma (GED®) or high school equivalency, including online study tools, practice tests, live tutoring, and self-paced learning platforms available year-round. PPLD also offers GED classes with required registration and orientation each August and January, with both online and in-person components. These resources are especially helpful for learners who are not currently enrolled in classes or who want to study independently or between sessions.

Peterson Test Prep

Full curriculum and courses broken up by subject and topic for self-study through all four GED test subjects

Practice tests and online lessons to help prepare for higher education and the working world, as well as information about private high schools, undergraduate and graduate programs, and executive education programs. All are searchable by location, major, tuition, or sports. Scholarship information is included. 

Career Online High School 

The Library offers scholarships for Career Online High School to earn a high school diploma fully online. Learners get credit for the work they have already completed in high school, and any completed GED subject tests.

These are websites that offer completely free (no subscription, no paid-apps) self-paced classes. All  the content you need to study is organized on a website that you will access after creating an account. You can work through the topics in order or just study specific areas.
