Knitting

When: Wednesday, April 25, 2018 - 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Where: Monument Library at Monument Study Room

An all-ages knitting group that meets every Wednesday in the Study Room. Practice materials are provided, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own materials! Some instruction provided for those new to the world of knitting. Come knit with us!

AfterMath!

When: Wednesday, April 25, 2018 - 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM
Where: Library21c at Ent Conference Center

Is math homework getting you down? Are finals freaking you out? Do you need to brush up before the ACT, SAT, or GED? Our experienced math tutors can help you improve your grades and take the stress out of math.

No appointments - Drop in! This runs from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m.
We will not have AfterMath in the case of holidays or school weather closures.

Teens on Laptops

When: Wednesday, April 25, 2018 - 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Where: Old Colorado City Library at Old Colorado City Meeting Room

Laptops are set aside for teen use only in the Community Room. Come on down and do homework, play games and music, or just surf! Occasionally we will have the Wii, crafts, or other special activities. Brought to you by TABTAB, our teen advisory board.

Teen Arts and Crafts: Design Your Own T-Shirt

When: Wednesday, April 25, 2018 - 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Where: Monument Library at Monument Meeting Room

Hey Teens! We'll be doing simple t-shirt photo transfers! Bring an image or create one with us, print it onto a transfer sheet, and iron it onto your shirt! We will provide some shirts, but if you have a cotton shirt of your own you'd rather use so that you know it will fit, feel free to bring it. Registration required.

Monument Library Anime Club

When: Wednesday, April 25, 2018 - 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM
Where: Monument Library at Monument Meeting Room

What: An anime club!
Why: Share anime with other people who love it, too! Eat snacks. Help shape the anime club for future months/generations.
What We're Watching Today: UNKNOWN! Nothing rated above TV-14. You can help us decide.
Program recommended for ages 13/14+.

Teen Dungeons and Dragons Club

When: Wednesday, April 25, 2018 - 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Where: Library21c Study Rooms at A1

Join other teens who are passionate about Dungeons and Dragons!!

Program is for ages 12-18. Space is limited to 8, so registration is required!! Check at the Teen desk for Location!!

Poem in Your Pocket Day!

When: Thursday, April 26, 2018 - All Day
Where: Ruth Holley Library

Poem in Your Pocket Day 2018 is on April 26 and is part of National Poetry Month. On this day, select a poem, carry it with you, and share it with others.

If you come in and share it with staff at Ruth Holley Library and/or on social media using the hashtag #pocketpoem, we will have candy for you in return. Ages 9-18.

Teen Game Day

When: Thursday, April 26, 2018 - 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Where: Cheyenne Mountain Library at Cheyenne Meeting Room

Our Teen Advisory Group (TAG) will introduce a new board game, group game, video game or team game to play/learn each game day! Come after school or whenever you can. Ages 12-18 welcome; no registration required. Snacks will be provided

AfterMath - Free Math Tutoring - All Ages, All Levels

Where: East Library at East Community Meeting Room

Teen and Tween Advisory Board

Where: Manitou Springs Library at Lower Level

Earn volunteer hours by creating and helping with library programs. Snacks included!

The Manitou Advisory Board has helped in designing the following programs: Video Game Night, Quidditch on the Lawn, Star Wars Movie Marathons, and more!

Pop-in After School Hangout

When: Thursday, April 26, 2018 - 4:15 PM - 5:15 PM
Where: Old Colorado City Library at Old Colorado City Meeting Room

A space to come after school where you can hangout, play, create, or even study! Light after school snacks provided. Occurs every Thursday! Ages 8-12.

Teens & Tweens Make@EA: Sew a Wallet

Where: East Library at Make @ East

This week, we'll celebrate Money Smart Week by sewing our own wallets. Ages 9-18 only, ages 9-10 need to be accompanied by a parent. Please contact us with questions!

Friday Fun! Crafts

Where: Manitou Springs Library at Lower Level

Friday Fun: Crafts! is a program for kids grades k-8 which meets right after school. Snacks will be provided. We hope to see you there!

East Coding Club: Google CS First Social Media

When: Friday, April 27, 2018 - 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Where: East Library at East Learning Lab

We'll be using Google's evaluated CS-First curriculum to teach the principles behind coding social media applications in Scratch. This curriculum is aimed at students ages 9-15, but ages 9-18 are welcome to participate. 16-18 year olds may find the curriculum to be too easy, but if they are completely new to coding, it is a great place to start. If you have never tried coding before, please attend coding club in January, or come to one of our Tech Thursday coding classes prior to starting the club in February.

Bristlebot Robots

Lego Build

Show off your creativity with this family event. Please do not bring your own LEGOs and all masterpieces remain at the library. (However, donations are gladly accepted!) Join us on the fourth Friday of the month.

Teen Craft Day: Star Wars, T-shirt bleach art

When: Saturday, April 28, 2018 - 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Where: Fountain Library at Fountain Meeting Room

We have had to change our program happening on Saturday, April 28.
The Spray Painting has been cancelled and replaced with T-shirt bleaching.
We will use a colored t-shirt and bleach to make a Star Wars theme shirt. You can bring a colored t-shirt or we can supply one. ( no guarantee of color or size)




Yo-Yo Club
