Event will focus on recovery resources, host several elected officials
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Pikes Peak Library District will host a community listening forum focused on substance abuse, its impact, and local resources for and barriers to recovery.
Various speakers will share how substance use has affected them and their family members. They will present their stories to a panel of local officials and elected representatives. The forum will focus on raising awareness about addiction in our community, inspiring positive dialogue about recovery, and providing information about the various barriers to achieving and sustaining recovery.
The event is free and open to the community.
