4th annual Business Resource Fair to provide connections & business know-how
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - When it comes to growing your business in the Pikes Peak region, there’s no better place to be than Library 21c.
On Monday, May 13, all the best and brightest in our region’s business community will gather at the library for the fourth annual Business Resource Fair.
The free event will include educational programs throughout the day and showcase more than 60 vendors, available to discuss any business-related questions local entrepreneurs may have.
“Connecting people in our local business community to the resources they need to succeed is one of the best parts of my job,” said Terry Zarsky, Strategic Services Librarian for Business at Pikes Peak Library District. “Every year we see this event link start-ups with resources needed to achieve their business goals, as well as create new partnerships between well-established businesses in town.”
Attendees can take a Business 101 class presented by the Colorado Springs Business Journal, a course on cybersecurity, and classes on small business financing and doing business with the state.
Among the vendors will be various local chambers of commerce, El Paso County Economic Development, workforce centers and staffing agencies, IT support companies, and more.
“There is something for everyone at this year’s fair,” Zarsky said. “We’re excited to see what new relationships blossom out of this event that’s overflowing with resources to help our local businesses succeed.”
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Library 21c this coming Monday, May 13. More information is available at ppld.org/biz-fair.
